New User Request Instructions
Instructions:
1. Follow the link below to get to the Tree Top FreshService Portal, either by copy and pasting into a browser address bar or clicking the link below.

2. On the home page, Select "Request New Service" with the shopping cart.
3. If you have not signed into your Office 365 account on your browser, you will notice a banner at the top that has appeared, Click the "Request New Service" again. If you have signed into Office 365 in your browser and this message does not appear, then you can skip to step 7
4. It should take you to a sign on page. Select the "Sign in with SSO" option.
5. Then enter your Tree Top Email address. And Click Next.
6. Enter your Tree Top password. Then Click Sign in.
7. In the service catalog, youe are defaulted to see all items. On the navigation tabs on the left, there are three categories. Select "User Requests".
8. From the User Requests list, select the desired form. In this example we will use the New User Request, but the other forms are similar. Click "Request Now" (which can be seen when hovering the mouse over the desired item).
9. Before you begin filling out the form, you can add others to receive updates on the ticket/request by clicking the "Add cc" under the requestor/Email on the right. It will open a space to enter email addresses of who you want to be notified.
10. The top of the form will give you a small description of the request and if it requires approval.
11. Then begin to fill out the form. Fields marked with a red asterisk are required to submit the form.
12. First line is for the user's first name
13. Next is the user's last name.
14. Next is a yes or no question asking if the person is an administration employee or someone who works in the plants.
15. If known, the user's Employee Number can be entered, otherwise HR can supply this.
16. Next is the "Match Access to" section, this helps I.S. know what access this person will need and saves time in creating the user. This needs to be a non-deleted account. Ex-employees that have left the company over 90 days ago generally have their accounts deleted.
17. Then enter their Job Title.
18. Next a phone number can be requested or using the word "NEW" will tell the helpdesk that we can give them the first number available. Or can enter N/A or None if no number is being requested.
19. Next is the mobile number section, if they wish to disclose their personal number they can, or a Tree Top cellphone number for that position can be entered here if there is one.
20. From here you can enter a start date for the employee by clicking on the box below "Start date" to open up the calendar and select the date.
21. If the user has any direct reports (they are potentially starting in a management position) then they can be entered here or left blank if there are none.
22. Next is a drop down for the distribution group that they will need to be a part of. We will say Selah Campus for this example.
23. Another drop down will appear to be a bit more specific on what groups they need to be a part of. This drop down is unique because multiple selections can be selected. We will select Corporate office for this example.
24. If there are any non-location specific email groups they need to be a part of they can be listed in the "Additional Email groups or Comments" Section.
25. The next section is for any equipment that is at a desk they may be using so that the Help Desk can assign the equipment properly. Asset tags can be entered here.
26. Similar to the unique drop down for the email lists, there is a drop down for computing application requirements. Multiple selections can be made here for applications they will need. Like PC log on or Skype ETC. This ensures that we set them up with access to these items.
27. Last section is the additional comments section. It is just for anything that needs to be said or added that was not on the form for this user.
28. The form can now be submitted at the top right with the Place Request button, if hardware is needed then continue to step 29.
29. If hardware is going to be needed to be requested for this user there are a few options at the bottom to select from. Once the check box has been selected for the desired request, it will open up the form for that request and allow you to begin that form.
